Electrical Maintenance Engineer x 2 (Continental Shifts), Birmingham, £23.19 ph - c42 hours = c£50,646.96 pa.12 hour rotation, 4 on 4 off 2x12 hour days (6am – 6pm) and 2x12 hour nights (6pm – 6am) Contracted to work all company shift patterns.Purpose: •Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken.•Ensure safe systems of work are applied, adhered to, and followed out consistently.•Support and achieve Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvement initiatives, Installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and any other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation. •Interact with stakeholders within the business on a daily basis to resolve equipment & site related issues.•Point of contact for internal customers to resolve plant, equipment, and safety issues & provide technical support. •Interact with external bodies, suppliers, and contractors to achieve the above.•Ensure critical spares are available and stock levels are maintained on consumption.Responsibilities:•Provide a high standard of multi-skilled (electrical) engineering support.•Diagnose faults or point of failure, repair equipment to ensure safe operation, correct function, reliability, and equipment availability.•Plan, co-ordinated and execute installation and plant improvement projects.•Provide support and input to plan/co-ordinate planned maintenance schedules, act on follow up repairs, source spares, complete and file documentation to audit standard.•Provide shift, factory startup/shutdown cover as and when required.•Report equipment issues, follow up works & spares requirements to the Shift Plant Engineer.•Support work requests outside of the sphere of the immediate role.To apply you must be living in the UK with full leave to remain as sponsorship is not available now or in the future.Additional Details: tinyurl.com/Ref-ST2535 Contact: Scott Thompson - 0121 427 4255 or send your cv to st@tsponline.co.uk #jobopportunity #jobsearch #electrical #maintenance #engineer #continentalshifts ... Wire Eroder, Walsall, Salary (Negotiable)My client is a manufacturing company specialising in producing press tooling.The role will entail operating a Wire CNC machine. To undertake all engineering aspects of the press tool room manufacturing process. Responsibilities: -*Operate all aspects of CNC wire erosion machinery in line with identified priorities and to design specifications provided. *Contribute to CNC wire erosion process in line with identified priorities and to design specifications provided. *Programming 3D CAD/CAM using VISI. *Contribute to all tool making finishing operations to include grinding. *Input of tool design stage on manufacturing processes and suitable designs of wire punch blocks and die insert blocks and block holding criteria. *Make recommendations for resolution of issues and liaise with Designer on implementation. *Ensure a safe working environment within own workspace. *Adhere to all ISO9001 processes and controls in place. *Notify via Near Miss Process of any health and safety issues observed across the shop floor. *Any other reasonable request made by the Managing Director.
