Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Continental Shifts), Birmingham, £23.19 per hourJob Purpose: *Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken.*Ensure safe systems of work are applied, adhered to and followed out consistently.*Support and achieve Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvement initiatives, Installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and any other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation. *Supervision of external contractors and service providers.*Interact with all stakeholders at any level within the business on a daily basis to resolve equipment & site related issues.*Be a point of contact for internal customers to resolve plant, equipment and safety issues & provide technical support. *Interact with external bodies, suppliers and contractors to achieve the above.*Ensure critical spares are available and stock levels are maintained on consumption.*Ensure a high standard of workmanship is achieved. Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor – Shopfitting, West Midlands, up to £70k.My client is a successful and established Midlands based Shopfitting & Interiors Fit Out Company, who now seeking to recruit an experienced Estimator/QS to join their existing Commercial Department.The successful person will provide an estimating service by performing analytical tasks for the determination of costs. Calculate the costs of carrying out a project, ensuring that the price charged covers all costs, whilst always being competitive. Key Responsibilities:*Report back to the Directors key aspects of the Estimating/QS function of the business in an agreed format. *Develop accounts with existing and new clients in close liaison with the Directors. *Analyse job appraisals to determine accuracy of estimating standards, report variances to the Directors. *Establish/maintain effective working relationships with the contracts team, site agents, sub-contractors, and all other employees. *Manage the QS function. Sales Manager - General Engineering/Fabrication, West Midlands , c£40k + CarMy engineering / manufacturing client is looking for a professional, hungry, and driven sales / business development person who can hit the floor running. They are looking to add to their sales team as they look to expand into new markets. They want someone who could expand their general engineering department, this would be generally fabrication work. Their current sales teams are both internal and external, they tend to get enquiries and then make a site visit to come up with a solution, however the general engineering side is as general as it can get.In an ideal situation they would like somebody who has their own customer base / contacts that require fabrications of any sort. The company can design but that generally slows down the process as it takes time to get through the drawing office. Ideally, they require customers who have their own drawings and are sub-contracting the fabrication out, this is the sort of sales professional / engineer they are looking at. Location wise, as long as the candidate can bring in sales, working remotely wouldn’t be an issue. The company feel that there are plenty of sectors they do not work with or supply that could be explored.
