📌 Toolmaker.📍 Walsall.💷 Up to £40,000.💼 Permanent, full-time position.A leading manufacturer of plastic and metal components is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join its established engineering team.✅Key Responsibilities.• Manufacture new die cast and plastic mould tooling.• Carry out tooling modifications and repairs.• Work from 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.• Set up tooling for die casting and plastic moulding production.• Assess tooling condition and support preventative maintenance.• Operate toolroom machinery, CNC equipment and EDM machinery.• Complete dimensional inspections and validation activities.• Support quality and engineering teams.• Troubleshoot tooling and production issues.• Identify and implement tooling improvements.✅Ideal Candidate.• Apprentice-trained Toolmaker desirable.• Experience in die casting, injection moulding or press tooling.• Proven experience of new tool manufacture.• Strong mechanical engineering background.• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.• AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CAD/CAM knowledge beneficial.• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.❗ You must be UK based and have full right to work in the UK.
