3D Designer – CAD, Northamptonshire, c£40k

This award winning and respected company is now seeking an experienced 3D Designer, to join their existing team.

The successful Designer will ideally have a background in designing Hospitality Interiors or similar.

This will be site/office based Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
• Taking a verbal or written brief and interpreting this into high-end 3D visuals.
• Remodelling existing projects.
• Project management, including liaison with project teams, contractors, and clients.
• Occasional site visits in the UK and abroad.

Skills/Requirements:
• Commercial 3D Design background, ideally Interiors, Store in Store, Exhibitions, Large Format.
• Fluency in 3ds Max and V-Ray (similar knowledge will be considered).
• Hand sketching/digital sketching skills.
• Adobe Suite and Office programs.
• Confidence working independently when necessary.
• Site and construction knowledge.
• AutoCAD experience is a benefit.
• Full driving licence and valid passport.

You’ll manage your own patch, visit some of London’s most prestigious offices and landmarks, and stay active while doing meaningful, skilled work. This is not a van role. No driving. No congestion. They are looking to expand their team and wish to recruit a proven and experienced Toolmaker. Responsible for repairing and maintaining press tools and welding jigs and fixtures and assisting in solving production problems in the press shop.*You must be reliable and a good timekeeper, as the role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the production department.*You will be expected to comply with the Companies Health and Safety procedures and report any Health and Safety issues to the Toolroom Team Leader.*Able to work on their own and be able to use their own initiative.*Able to repair and maintain press tools from 45- ton to 400-ton single operation and progression tools.*Oversee any tool / jig modifications when required.*Trouble shoot and problem solve on tools that are in press.*Use all standard toolroom equipment in a safe and professional manner.*You need to be a good communicator and team player and support other members of staff in the toolroom.*Responsible for filling in the relevant tool notes and returning them to the Toolroom Leading Hand or Toolroom Team Leader.*Expected to work over if the need arises due to a tool breakdown or production problems.*Carry out any tasks within the scope and abilities of the above.
