Electrical Maintenance Engineer x 2 (Continental Shifts), Birmingham, £23.19 ph - c42 hours = c£50,646.96 pa.12 hour rotation, 4 on 4 off 2x12 hour days (6am – 6pm) and 2x12 hour nights (6pm – 6am) Contracted to work all company shift patterns.Reporting to the Shift Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the supervision of external contractors and service providers.Purpose: •Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken.•Ensure safe systems of work are applied, adhered to, and followed out consistently.•Support and achieve Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvement initiatives, Installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and any other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation. •Supervision of external contractors and service providers.•Interact with all stakeholders at any level within the business on a daily basis to resolve equipment & site related issues.•Point of contact for internal customers to resolve plant, equipment, and safety issues & provide technical support. •Ensure critical spares are available and stock levels are maintained on consumption.Responsibilities:•Provide a high standard of multi-skilled (electrical) engineering support whilst working safely either independently or as part of a team.•Diagnose faults or point of failure, repair equipment to ensure safe operation, correct function, reliability, and equipment availability.•Engineer out equipment failures through continuous improvement.•Plan, co-ordinated and execute installation and plant improvement projects.•Provide shift, factory startup/shutdown cover as and when required.•Specify & procure critical spares, be able to create requisitions to order.•Report equipment issues, follow up works & spares requirements to the Shift Plant Engineer and report in the shift report.Additional Details: tinyurl.com/2juk45j5 Contact: Scott Thompson - 0121 427 4255 or send your cv to st@tsponline.co.uk #jobopportunity #jobsearch #electrical #maintenance #engineer #continentalshifts ... Maintenance Engineer, Wednesbury, up to £34kMy manufacturing / production client is looking to recruit a proven Maintenance Engineer.You will be responsible for resolving efficiently and effectively the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance of machines and associated value-added processes, attend breakdowns, log all work completed on the maintenance system.Carry out planned/preventative maintenance task in accordance with the maintenance plan.Build strong key relationships with Department managers and Shop floor operatives through clear concise communication.Be proactive in your approach to problems and subsequent counter measures.Follow all H&S legislation and company rules when undertaking the role.Key Responsibilities: • Carry out all duties within the scope of the Company mission and values.• Carry out work in a safe manner, following correct procedure.• Ensure all breakdowns are kept to a minimum.• Follow best mechanical and electrical engineering practices.• Ensure all planned work is completed with minimal disruption to production.• Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest standards .• Carry out work to the highest standard and have pride in your work.• Own all critical spares and ensure stock levels are maintained.• Overtime both planned and reactive will be expected to support the business.• To assist in improvement projects within the department and general factory.Qualifications / Experience:• C&G or BTEC in an engineering discipline and or Time served.• Electrical knowledge for circuitry and fault finding.• PC skills for maintenance system and for Machine operation systems.• Worked within a manufacturing environment with precision machinery.• Mechanical engineering knowledge.• Fault finding within mechanical and electrical environment.• Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge would be advantageous.• Strong understanding of machinery electrical and electronic circuits and systems.Additional Details: tinyurl.com/nzrx7x8t Contact: Scott Thompson - 0121 427 4255 or send your cv to st@tsponline.co.uk #jobopportunity #jobsearch #manufacturing #maintenance #engineer #breakdowns #pneumatic #hydraulic ...
