This is a great opportunity to join an established/stable and successful company and become part of the growing Project Management Team. Although not essential this position could be of particular interest to someone how has a keen interest, qualifications or prior work experience gained within the Creative, Events, Exhibitions and/or Interiors.
Due to needing to attend meetings/sites both in the UK and Overseas, you will need a valid driving licence and passport is essential.
As a Trainee/Junior Project Manager you will undertake training and development in all areas of project management within the company.This will include planning, managing and overseeing all aspects of a project’s lifecycle, ensuring each assigned projects is delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with other Departments/Colleagues to ensure the best possible outcome for clients and their projects.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for
*Ensuring all procedures relating to the project are completed
*Overseeing the projects from agreed design stage through to delivery and on onsite installation
*Managing timelines after handover, both in the workshop and site
*Ensuring quality standards are achieved- including final quality control checks
*Arranging and attending client meetings with regards to project updates and providing ongoing advice etc
*Managing the project process including any drawing amends with the drawing assistant
*Organising pre-build meeting obtaining approval and identifying extra costs
*Implementing project schedule and summary–update and monitor during project
*Producing onsite timetables
*Responsibility for final quality control of all jobs
*Managing project document costs and billing after handover
*Managing Project office and site staff as necessary
*Producing de-brief sheets, obtain client feedback and hold de-brief meetings
*Attending sites as required throughout Europe
*Booking all hotels and flights required
*Sourcing new suppliers and update supplier list
Requirements:
*”Can Do” attitude and willingness to learn
*Prior experience in assisting in design, manufacturing and/or installation projects could be beneficial
*Full driving licence and passport
