CAD Engineer (Pipe / Pipe Systems), West Midlands, £30-40k

Our client is a leading manufacturer of metal fabrications. They are looking to add to their team and are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with pipe / pipe systems experience.

You will be responsible for taking a customer enquiry / estimate from the in-house team, producing a design, adding it to the CAD system then once the client agrees, carry out any modifications / revised work, then produce details designs that can be released to the shop floor for manufacture.

They are looking for somebody with a good understanding of CAD (ideally Solidworks). Somebody with an understanding of design around pipe / pipe systems / metal work, experience detailing pipework preferably within the Water Industry, definitely in large bore carbon steel pipework.

Knowledge of stress analysis would be a huge bonus, but this is not a necessity. Supporting qualifications would be good.

Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.15-16.45 and Friday 8.15 – 15.45
